Park West is served by one of the finest public school districts in the state of South Carolina, Charleston County School District.

One of the unique aspects of Park West is the on-premises Elementary and Middle Schools. Children attend Charles Pinckney Elementary and Cario Middle School without ever leaving the Park West grounds.

The Educational Campus of Park West is located on 100 acres of beautifully landscaped property surrounded by wetlands and woodlands. Both schools were built in the year 2000 and are equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipment in the computer lab, science lab and outdoor athletic fields.

A second Charleston County elementary school, Laurel Hill Primary (K-2), opened on the Park West Campus in January. Pictured below are two perspectives of Laurel Hill Primary. Grades 3-5 will be Pinckney Elementary School, and Grades 6-8 in Cario Middle School.

Pictured below is the new Mount Pleasant (Wando) High School, which opened in 2004 and is located on property next door to Park West. Eventually, there will be a cut-through road from the high school to Park West, thus avoiding the necessity for students who live in Park West to travel on Highway 17.

Additionally, continuing adult education is readily available from the College of Charleston and several other institutions of higher learning within an hour's drive.
